A HUGE PUBLIC OUTCRY
A huge public outcry goes forth across America against judicial corruption.
"To corrupt the bankruptcy system, it is only necessary to corrupt a few bankruptcy judges" (From Courting Failure)
"A Bankruptcy Trustee has the power to seize everything you own and all your money, if he can find it, and leave you with nothing to hire legal representation or pay for food and shelter, which is the general idea. You are then forced to defend yourself pro se, while dead broke, and unless you can become an immediate legal savant, you are SOL." (From The Bankruptcy Club)
"Our liberties are in grave danger because our ultimate recourse to the courts is now effectively blocked by corrupt judges in collusion with the evil powers that control this nation." (From Corruption of the Judicial System)
"There are deep, ugly resemblances in the history of legalized slavery in America and the U.S. Trustee Program. Just as the children of slaves were property of slave owners, when debtors file bankruptcy, everything they own or may own in the future becomes property of the bankruptcy estate (plantation)." (From Bankruptcy - Illegal Slavery)
" ... only about five people, including Todd J. Zywicki, a law professor at George Mason University in Virginia, and several lobbyists, wrote the legislation. A group that small can't coherently revamp something as intricate as the bankruptcy code ..." (From Bankruptcy Law In Shambles)
"It's unfair to individuals already in financial distress," Shraiberg said. "I tell clients upfront that it's going to cost them a minimum of $1,500 to contest a challenge." That's in addition to the $1,500 to $3,000 he said he charges to file for Chapter 7 exclusive of challenges. (From U.S. Trustee Program Launches Congress' Means-Testing Bill Without Legislation)
"The second threat to the rule of law comes from government, which is encumbered with agencies that have made the law so complicated that it is difficult to decipher and often contradicts itself." (From American Legal System Is Corrupt Beyond Recognition)
" It is particularly disturbing, and indeed shameful, that many who generally claim to represent the weak now argue that the powerful should be allowed a pass when they break the rules. There is nothing just or fair in a double standard." (From Congressman Hyde's Statement Before The Judiciary Committee)
"Statistics provided by the Executive Office for United States Trustees provide that the majority of assets in chapter 7 cases are distributed as compensation to chapter 7 trustess and their hired professionals." (From Distribution of Assets in Chapter 7 Cases)
